Happy First Day of Spring!

Hooray today is the first day of spring! Although we didn't have much of a winter i'm still glad it's now spring. That means no more cold temperatures, not that they were cold in the first place. Another reason why i'm glad it's Spring is that I can now ride my bike more often. The picture above is a picture of the forested area of the trail near the bayou, I took this yesterday, I was really scared so I left quickly, I didn't want to fall down or, get bitten by anything. I think i'm going to walk instead of ride my bike the next time I go down there. Happy first day of Spring everybody! : )

    It does look like a nice place to walk or bike through Joseph!! It is exciting that it is spring. I like the extra light and the trees blooming! Hope your spring is a good one!

    Hi Joseph ~~ I take it you have a mountain or off road bike to ride down there. I wouldn't want to walk in there either.

    Did you come out from under your covers after the storm passed? That was a nice drawing. With all the thunder and stuff I doubt you went to sleep. :)

      Lol! Ya, it came through at around 7 am, so I didn't lose that much sleep. I had ear plugs on but, I couldn't shut out the bright flashes of lightning that kept me from falling back to sleep. Thanks!

Look at all of my toy cars! I was just organizing them before I put them into a different box, but I had to move them a little early to make some roof for my new computer! So back into the box they went! I've always wanted to arrange my toy cars like this since I was a kid, when I would see them arranged like this in toy car collector magazines and books, I thought it looked pretty cool. Anyway I had to get a new computer because my laptop's screen finally went out and it was becoming slow. It would sometimes take couple of minutes to load a webpage, so I knew I had to get a new computer. I got a Lenovo from Microcenter. It's refurbished, but it looks and works like new. Microcenter also gives you a keyboard and mouse, but it doesn't come with a monitor unless you want one, but it will cost you  a little extra. I've Found More Trails to Explore!

Uh-oh look at my bike, it's caked in mud! This picture was taken yesterday after I had ridden in the ant hills which is a dirt trail. Unfortunately for me it had rained on Wednesday and Thursday so, the trail was all muddy. I had to scrub hard to wash all the dirt off. There still is some dirt on the pedals and tires but, other than that it's pretty clean. I think I should have waited until the dirt dried up.
