My Secret Cat

My sister Tamara came back from New York today and she is going to back to Dallas so, she took Oliver with her. I enjoyed palying with Oliver and I hope he enjoyed staying in Tamara's old room. My mom and I kind of miss Oliver but, were kind of glad that he's gone because he likes to scratch us too much. I do miss Oliver's loud purring when you pet him. I think Oliver was glad to leave because he was getting tired of being stuck in Tamara's old room. I hope that I will get to see him again so, that I can play with him some more.

I'm reading a new book called the Teacher's Pet. Which is a book about these people who own a boarding kennels and rescue center and they are trying to train this disobedient dalmatian. I remember when my sister Julia bought it for me in elementary school. I've been meaning to read it but, I forgot about it and then I found it today and I decided that I was going to read it. I've only read the first chapter of it and it seems like a good book. The chapters are short and there isn't that many of them so, it won't take me that long to finish reading it.

I just finished reading The Silicon Dagger which is a book about this rebel and his brother trying to take control of their city. It was a pretty interesting book. I enjoyed reading it. The book kind of reminds me of what is happening right now with the hackers controlling people's computers. The rebel's brother has a secret technology that the U.S. govrnment is trying to figure out. So they send a agent who's brother was writing a book about their city called Mcadam. The brother get's killed by a letter bomb so, they send the agent to try and figure out who killed his brother and what the secret technology is but, the rebel doesn't like him because of what his brother wrote about his city so, he has to sneak around to try and figure out who killed his brother and what the secret technology is. I think it would be a good book for someone who likes seciencefiction and who wants something easy to read.

When I was sitting downstairs in the den I heard a strange static noise coming from the coffee table and I was wondering what it was. I picked up my cell phone from the table and I noticed that the noise was coming from it. Also the screen keeps flickering on and off. I don't know why it has started doing this because I don't remember spilling any water on it or dropping it. It also turns off after i've left it on for a while. I hope it's not broken.

This morning I looked out of my bedroom window and I saw the orange kitty. Then when I came downstairs in the afternoon I saw the little kitty and the white kitty together in my backyard. I was happy to see the white kitty because I hadn't seen her in two days. I gave her some food and some more cat treats. I think she has another house she goes to and she just likes to stop by at my house to say hello and to get some food. I wish Simon and little kitty would be nicer to her so, that she would want to stay here and would not want to go find some other place to eat and sleep.

It is starting to feel like spring. The temperatures are warm and we might get some thunderstorm's on Thursday. We usually get most of our thunderstorm's in spring. I hope we get alot of thunderstorm's this year because we didn't get that many last year. I like it when we get one of those heavy rain and lightning thunderstorm's because they are exciting to watch. I hope we get some thunderstorm's.

I went into Tamara's room today to play with Oliver. I have been going in there at least once a day to play with him. I would have liked to go and play with Oliver more but, Simon is going to get angry at me and i'm not allowed to get scratched that much and Oliver likes to scratch me alot when I am playing with him. I am enjoying playing with Oliver and I will try to play with him more often so that he will not feel so lonely while he is staying here.

I saw the Karate Kid yesterday with Jaden Smith Will Smith's son and Jackie Chan. I thought it was pretty good. Even though it was supposed to be a kid's movie. The plot was very similar to the original Karate Kid. Where the kid gets beat up by a bully who knows karate and then the kid finds a old karate teacher and he teaches him how to fight and then the kid enters a karate tournament so, that he can beat up his bully. I thought it was funny that they chose Jackie Chan to be the karate teacher. I thought the movie was good and I think if you liked the original Karate Kid then I think you would probably like the newer version of it.

When I was looking out the front door to see if the white kitty was there I saw here running across the driveway to the door. I opened the door and started petting her. Then I gave her some food and some Friskie's Party mix cat treats. She didn't really eat much of the food I gave her but, she ate all of the kitty treats I gave her. I hope she has been getting enough food. When I saw her today she looked fine so, I think she has been getting enough food. I was happy when I saw her today because I was starting to get worried since I hadn't since her in a couple of days. She usually disappears for a couple of days and then she comes back but, I still wanted to know if she was ok.

I haven't seen the white cat these past few days, but i'm not worried because she usually disappears for a few days and then she shows up again. It's probably because I haven't been leaving any food for her outside. I'm still recovering from heart surgery and i'm not able to go up and down the stairs that much and i'm not able to go downstairs and check on her to see if she wants to come inside or if she wants food. I try to leave her some food at the front door before I go to bed just incase she wants some food. I hope she shows up again. She probably will wants i'm better and i'm able to leave food outside for her.

It's been warm these past few days and i've been enjoying it. I've been able to walk outside without putting a jacket or sweater on. They said on the Weather Channel that it's going to be warm for the rest of the month which is great because Feburary is the last month when we get our cold temperatures in Houston so, that means that winter is almost over. We might get a couple of cold fronts in march that bring the temperatures down into the 30's but they don't usually go below that. Then it will be spring and we won't get anymore cold temperatures. I hope it stays warm through the rest of winter because I think it is annoying when the temperatures keep changing from warm to cold. I think they should just stay the same. They should just be continuously cold or continously warm because I think it's annoying when it is warm one day and then cold the next day. Then you have to get used to the cold all over again. That's why i'm glad that it is suppos

I had the BBQ sandwhich at Whataburger and it was really good! I liked it alot. It was also really filling so, I didn't want to order any fries. I think it is the best chicken sandwhich that Whataburger has made and they are only making them for a limited time. I had had one before more than six months ago and I thought it tasted good but, they were only making them for a limited time and i've been wanting to have one. So, I was really happy when I heard that they were making them again. I really enjoyed eating it and I think that everyone should try one before they stop making them. I think that they should continue making them and not just make them for a limited time.

In 1895 there was a huge storm in the gulf that brought 15 inches of snow to Galveston and 24 inches of snow to Rayne, Louisiana . That's what it said on the Weather Channel's daily weather history today. I don't know if that's true or not, but that is too much snow for Galveston to have had. They usually freakout if there is only 3 inches of snow but, they got 1 foot and 3 inches of snow. That's alot of snow. I wonder why nobody has ever said anything about it. I guess it could happen though if we did get alot of cold air and we had one of those big storms from the gulf that brings alot of rain. Then we would get alot of snow. That would be fun but, I think Houston would freakout too much if we had over a foot of snow.

Since my sister Tamara was going on a business trip to New York for a week. She decided that it would be better to leave Oliver at our house where there is people than to leave it alone in her house for a week. She may even have to stay longer so, she wanted to make sure that it wouldn't get lonely and that it would have enough food. I hope Oliver enjoys staying in Tamara's old room at our house and that he doesn't feel lonely while he is staying here.

It's looks like we are going to have a warm week. They are forecasting partly cloudy skies through the week with low temperatures in the 50's and 60's and the high temperatures are going to be in the 70's. I'm so glad that it is going to be warm this week because i'm tired of the cold temperatures. Now I can go walk outside and go downstairs without worrying about getting a cold.

I saw the last episode of the first season of American Top Gear today. They didn't say if they were going to have another season but, I hope they do because I like the American Top Gear. I still don't think it is better than the British version but, I think the American version of Top Gear is still good. I hope they still keep making more American Top Gear episodes.

I saw the movie Fahrenheit 451 today. Whitch is a 1960's movie based on the novel Fahrenheit 451. I liked the novel alot so, I was excited to see the movie. The movie showed everything that happened in the novel and it had helped explain some things to me that I didn't get when I was reading it. I thought the movie was very good and I was glad that I got to see it. I thought it was a good movie and I think that you should watch it even if you haven't read the book yet, but it would probably be funner to watch if you had read the book. I think you should read it first because I thought it was interesting to see how different the movie was from what I had pictured in my head when I was reading the book. The scenes were a little different from what I had expected and it had also explained some things to me that I didn't get in the book. I thought it was a good movie and I think you should watch it.

It's been cold in Houston these past few days and i'm looking forward to next week because it is supposed to get warmer. The highs are going to be in the 60's and 70's next week. Which is good because i'm tired of this cold weather and I want to go outside and walk. I hope this is the end of the cold weather and that it stays warm for the rest of these last few weeks of winter.

This morning we had another artic cold front come through and they were saying on the Weather Channel website that they were expecting there to be alot of freezing rain and ice on the roads today, but the temperatures didn't get cold fast enough and there wasn't as much rain as they expecting so there wasn't really any ice on the roads. I think I did see a couple of snow flurries though. So that was interesting. The low temperatures are supposed to be in the 20's this week, so its going to be another cold week.

I went on google and searched how many hours cats sleep in one day and I found out that they sleep between 13-16 hours a day. That's a long time to be sleeping. They spend more than a half a day sleeping. I wonder why they sleep so much?

I was watching tv today and I was wondering if they were going to show anymore new episodes of Top Gear on BBCA. I went to the BBCA channel and I saw that Top Gear was on but, it was a old episode. Then I looked to see what was coming on next and I saw that that they were going to show a new episode of Top Gear. I was really excited not only were they going to show one new episode but, they were going to show two new episodes of Top Gear. It was also the season premiere so I was glad that I didn't miss any of the new episodes. I like the english version of Top Gear better so, i'm glad that they are making new episodes.

After staring through the wide open front door Simon decided that he wanted to go outside. Simon was afraid it was really bright outside and there were these loud noises coming from beyond the tall brown fence. He stepped onto the door mat uncertainly turning his head left to write trying to see and hear everything that was going on. He stepped a little further going left towards the bushes eyeing everything suspiciously. He gets scared and runs back into the safety of the house. He stands there in front of the door again peering outside not sure if he wants to go outside again. After a few minutes of staring he decides that he doesn't want to go outside again. My mom goes to the and she shuts it. Simon takes a look at the door and walks away. He wants to go outside but, he's too scared. Maybe he'll try agian next time. Right now he wants to go to sleep. Simon has been sleeping on my bed these past few days. Which is good becuase he helps me sleep. I can always get to sleep when Simon is on my bed even when i'm not that tired. I'm glad that Simon has been sleeping in my bed.

 I was hoping we would get some snow in Houston but, unforunately all the snow turned to freezing rain by the time it got here. It did snow a little bit in some parts of Houston but, not that much. I wish it snowed where I live. I don't understand why it didn't snow here because the temperature was below 32 degrees. Which is the temperature it needs to be for it to snow. They said its because the atmosphere wasn't cold enough but, that doesn't make any sense because it was below 32 degrees this morning and the temperatures have been in the 20's and 30's all week. So the atmosphere should've been cold enough right? I don't know but, I was really hoping to see some snow!

They said that it will probably snow in Houston tommorrow in the evening or early friday morning. They said that we are probably going to get around 1 to 2 inches of snow! They also said that there might be some ice so be careful if you drive on the roads! I hope that we are going to get some snow tommorrow.

When I came home from the hospital the white kitty wasn't there and I hadn't seen here since I left to go to the hospital and i've been wanting to see her. So this morning my mom told me that she had shown up and that she was in the study. I was really happy and I wanted to see her but, I had to go downstairs to see her and my mom said that if I went downstairs I wouldn't be able to go up the stairs again because of my heart surgery she didn't think it was a good idea for me to go up and down the stairs so much. So I wasn't sure if I wanted to go downstairs just yet. I decided to go downstairs and see the white kitty. When I got into the study she started meowing and I petted her. Then she wanted to go outside so, I had to let her. I haven't seen her since this morning but, that's ok since I can't really take care of her anyways because I am recovering from my heeart surgery. I hope she shows up again!
