Toyota Matrix: Road Test Update 2014

Image
It's officially been two years since we got the Toyota Matrix! It's a 2011 and has 62,560 miles on it. We got it when it had 42,260 miles on it, back in 2012. For these past two years, with the exception of tire wear, the Toyota Matrix has had no problems. Up until now.... The Toyota Matrix wouldn't start at first, yesterday, but my dad eventually got it going. Both my dad and the people at the dealership that I work at think that it might have been some bad gas, for driving the car on empty, which I do a lot. So hopefully that was the problem, but anyway..... The Toyota Matrix has been running fine since yesterday, so we'll see!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Getting Cold Again!

Image
It's only November and the weather forecasters are forecasting temperatures in the low 40's and maybe high 30's next week! Usually Houston may have one, or a few days with highs and lows in the 40's and 50's. I wonder if Houston is going to have some more winter storms like it did last winter! I am already forecasting .25 + inches of winter precip for Houston, TX, this winter. I think Houston has a good chance of getting some winter precip, this winter, temperatures are already almost cold enough.

I Love Animals!

Hi fellow bloggers! I just wanted to say hi. I have been meaning to make a post, but I always keep on forgetting about it, and then I don't have any time, when I do. So I hope to make some more posts, soon! I have been feeling like writing lately. I also wanted to show y'all one of my shirt designs that I made on Customink.com. Customink is a website that will print your designs for you, on a shirt, hat, or whatever you want them to. It is a great site! I like how my design looks on the Irish green sweat shirt, that Customink had as a color choice. What do y'all think? Also hi! : )

Possy Strikes Again!

Image
Yesterday morning, while trying to take out the trash, I found one of the trash bags open. I suspected Possy because I had seen him walking around our front yard, the night, or two before. It looks like Possy's back!

Possy Time!

Image
I found some free time! I just wanted to take some time off from blogging. I don't get much time to blog during the week, but I have time to blog on the weekends! : )

Working.....

Image
I got hired! And i've been working..... Long hours and I barely have time to talk. Just wanted to let y'all know what i've been up to. I hope to talk to y'all sometime. Time to go to bed!

Possy then went to sleep on some cotton and a big, green leaf that the mother mallard gave to Possy for finding her babies. The day was still going on, but it would soon be evening and then night. It was just another day, for an opossum named Possy. Possy didn't get much food that day, except for some rain water, but he didn't care, he just wanted some sleep! The end.

Too tired to go home, Possy found a big hole in the tree that he could rest in.

"My babies!" "Thanks Possy" said the mother mallard. "Welcome..." Said Possy exasperated, glad to finally be on solid ground. Although high ground. He just wanted to go home!

"Look, over there!" Screamed Possy with excitement. The mother mallard screamed with excitement also."Yay, I've found my babies!"

A Day in The Life of an Opossum Pg. 7

"My babies, my babies!" "What...Your not one of my babies?" said the mallard duck. "No, I am not!" Yelled Possy. Possy was now high in the air, about another 100 feet above the drainage pipe that got him in this mess in the first place. "Well if your not my baby, then maybe i'll just drop you..." Possy started to go "Quack, quack!" pretending to be a baby duck, but baby ducks don't quack and the mother mallard knew that. "Down you go!" said the mallard. "Wait there!" screamed Possy anxiously. "I see your babies!" Joining Josie Two Shoes in her Two Shoes Tuesday, click the link to join in, or see other entries.  http://www.josie2shoes.com/2014/06/two-shoes-tuesday-82-pretend-or-pop.html

Just then a brown mallard duck flew in from behind with its claws sticking out screaming something about babies.

A Day in The Life of an Opossum Pg. 5

Possy rose higher and higher, high above the ground, screaming and screaming! One of the construction workers saw Possy and tried to warn the crane operator, but it was too late....Possy was already 100 feet above the ground.

Day in The Life of an Opossum Pg. 4

Image
Possy was suddenly being lifted by a crane! The water that had fallen in the drainage pipe during the thunderstorm was now spilling onto Possy and he was struggling to hang on. Possy started to scream, "Help, help!" "Somebody help!"

A Day in The Life of an Opossum pg. 3

Image
While Possy was waiting for the rain to end, he became drowsy and he fell asleep. Possy dreamt that he was walking on a mountain on a clear blue day. He was walking happily along the mountain watching cat food fall from the sky. While watching this cat food Possy became thirsty and he started to drink from a water filled puddle that appeared out of nowhere. Possy drank and drank and drank. He drank until his stomach was full and then....

But on the way to the chicken smell Possy heard a loud rumble of thunder and went and took refuge in a drainage pipe near a construction site. Joining Josie Two Shoes in her Two Shoes Tuesday, click the link to join in, or see other entries.  http://www.josie2shoes.com/

One day “Possy” the Opossum was walking down an empty street. Upon walking down the street with a smile on his face Possy thought he smelled some chicken.

Out For a Walk

A friendly site, for friendly people. Hi folks! Sorry I haven't been getting to my usual's. I have been busy writing and looking for writing jobs. Hey also I just made a new site on WordPress called friendlees.com It is a website that supports friendly people and friendly things. I am also letting people write, or submit their ideas to my site. Riding The Trail: Billy's Big Adventure!

Image
It was summertime in Oregon when Billy had decided to take his older brother's bike to school. Billy had successfully ridden his older brother's bike to his elementary school. He had taken it to try and impress his third grade class, which he did. But he didn't impress his brother who had to walk to school because he didn't want to ride his younger brother's bike. Billy sort of felt sorry for his older brother, but he was having so much fun riding his bike. That after school Billy had decided to take his older brother's bike through the Oregon woods. Once Billy had gotten to the woods, he was tired and didn't feel like riding his older brother's bike anymore. He couldn't even sit properly on it. Billy's older brother's bike was too high and his feet could barely touch the pedals. Bill was starting to feel sorry that he took his older brother's bike. He stopped in the middle of the Oregon woods, where he thought he had seen a blac
