My Secret Cat

Uh-oh look at my bike, it's caked in mud! This picture was taken yesterday after I had ridden in the ant hills which is a dirt trail. Unfortunately for me it had rained on Wednesday and Thursday so, the trail was all muddy. I had to scrub hard to wash all the dirt off. There still is some dirt on the pedals and tires but, other than that it's pretty clean. I think I should have waited until the dirt dried up. This week's Pondering With a Purpose is blogging, what would I be doing if I wasn't spending my time blogging. Hmm..... well like Brenda said I definitely would be reading alot more. I used to spend hours reading a book now i'm lucky if I can get an hour, I miss reading. I think blogging can be more fun than reading, watching TV or, playing video games, things which I would be doing more of if I weren't spending time blogging. I know I have been slacking a little bit but, that's because I have too many things to do and want to do. It's just blogging takes up too much of my time sometimes and there are other things i'd rather be doing. I sometimes don't know if I want to keep making these posts, I may need to take a break! Old bike New bike I did it! I got a new bike! I decided to get the newer Haro bike not the blue one which was a year older and a $100 dollars cheaper. I thought well if i'm going to buy a new bike I might else well get the newest one, that way it will last longer. Also this one has better brakes and is a 8 speed, the other one was a 7 speed bike.  I really like it. It feels smoother and faster. There are no problems now but, there were some after I had got it on Sunday, the chain came loose.  I took it to Sun and Ski and they said that the derailing was pushed to far. I'm not really sure what that means but, everything seems to be working fine. Plus they give me free maintenance for life so, i'm not worried. I think it was a great bike for a great price.  Oh and I got it to fit in my older sisters car. It was a tight squeeze. It fit alot better than it did in the Camry when my dad took me to get it fixed. We had to leave the trunk open so, the car started beeping, it be

So this is the bike that I want to buy but, there is one problem, how do I get there or, how do I get back? There is only one place that sells this brand of bicycle and the closest one of those places is at the mall. The mall that the place is in is surrounded by major roads and freeways. Our car is too small to fit a bicycle in. So here's the question how am I supposed to take back home? Not only do I want to avoid the cars but, I also don't want to ride it on the sidewalk. I think that might have the reason why my other bike broke. I mean the malls not that far and I wouldn't mind riding it bike home but, how do I avoid the cars? If one's stopped the other one is moving. There's no way around them. I thought we bought cars for transportation? Well if we bought them for transportation then why can't I use my bike for transportation? It seems like I need to get a car just to avoid getting hit by a car. Then what's the point of that? So how am I gonna bring

Today's Pondering With a purpose is communicating, what are your favorite ways to communicate. Well I guess my favorite way to communicate is by mailbox but, I usually communicate by email. I don't like to talk on the phone or, use text message, i'm bad at both. I prefer to communicate on internet chat rooms or, by email. I would like to communicate by real mail but, that takes too much time. I think it's fun to get letters. Actually I guess blogging and Twitter are my major ways of communicating to other people. I only use email to communicate with my family and some other people that I have no other way of talking to. In real life i'm not really much of a communicator, that's why I started this blog so, I tell people what's going on. It's been great so far, I like to communicate. Yes, I know i'll get to my other usual posts but, before I do I wanted to show y'all some more pics of the trail that I took. I took these while I was walking. I was walking because my bike is broken. I think I hit a rock on the trail or, something, the bike won't shift, gonna need to get it fixed. I might even have to get a new one. I don't know. I hope y'all liked my pics!

Hooray today is the first day of spring! Although we didn't have much of a winter i'm still glad it's now spring. That means no more cold temperatures, not that they were cold in the first place. Another reason why i'm glad it's Spring is that I can now ride my bike more often. The picture above is a picture of the forested area of the trail near the bayou, I took this yesterday, I was really scared so I left quickly, I didn't want to fall down or, get bitten by anything. I think i'm going to walk instead of ride my bike the next time I go down there. Happy first day of Spring everybody! : )

There's a big storm coming tomorrow and the wind's are howling, going to go hide under the covers until it's safe.

Recently I had bought I was going to the grocery store to get some cat food for our cats. Once I got to the dog and cat aisle of the grocery store I was presented with two choices get the regular old Meow Mix that we usually get or, spend a dollar more and get the Purina Cat Chow brand. Thinking about the cats health and how tired they must be of the Meow Mix I decided to go with the Purina Cat Chow brand. The reason why i'm telling y'all this is I have a question. Since y'all are cat lovers I was hoping y'all could give me some advice on what you think is the healthiest and least expensive cat food and where do you go to get it? Today's pondering with a purpose theme is blog hops and why do I participate in them. Well.... the reason I started to participate in them was because I wanted to branch out to other people, to see if I could get more followers and comments on my posts. I had only about 8 followers before I started hoping and now I have 27, most of them are from various blog hops that I usually participate in. Blog hoping has given me a wider audience and has introduced me to some interesting people, like Brenda for example, hee hee! I really enjoy reading their posts and their comments on my posts, it's fun to see what people think about your point of view on things, that's why I started the blog in the first place. This used to be a railroad crossing, I think. Riding on the railroad, I got to feel what it was like to ride on those tracks, although it might have been a cargo train that used to ride on them, I don't if many passenger trains went through Houston.   Here are some more pictures of a long bike ride that I took yesterday, there not blurry this time. My camera seems to take good pictures when it's cloudy. I hope you like the pictures.
