We Got Some Rain!

We finally got some rain in Houston! I was wanting to make this post on Wednesday but, blogger has been shut down these past two days. We had some rain on Wednesday and Thursday. We just had a few showers on Wednesday and then we got some heavier rain on Thursday but, not much lightning and thunder though. I think all of the lightning and thunder was west of Houston. I was really excited on Thursday when I saw a huge line of thunderstorms on the radar coming to Houston. It rained for about four hours and dropped .82 inches of rain! I really enjoyed watching the rain. Even though we did get some rain much of Texas is still in a drought but, There is some good news though. I saw the extended forecast and there is more chances of rain next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Hopefully we can get some more rain. We need it to get rid of this drought!

    that was a lot of rain!! I bet it was fun to watch it! you are so right, Blogger had lots of problems yesterday and the day before; hope they got everything working okay by now!

Toy Cars And a New Computer!

Look at all of my toy cars! I was just organizing them before I put them into a different box, but I had to move them a little early to make some roof for my new computer! So back into the box they went! I've always wanted to arrange my toy cars like this since I was a kid, when I would see them arranged like this in toy car collector magazines and books, I thought it looked pretty cool. Anyway I had to get a new computer because my laptop's screen finally went out and it was becoming slow. It would sometimes take couple of minutes to load a webpage, so I knew I had to get a new computer. I got a Lenovo from Microcenter. It's refurbished, but it looks and works like new. Microcenter also gives you a keyboard and mouse, but it doesn't come with a monitor unless you want one, but it will cost you  a little extra. I've Found More Trails to Explore!

Uh-oh look at my bike, it's caked in mud! This picture was taken yesterday after I had ridden in the ant hills which is a dirt trail. Unfortunately for me it had rained on Wednesday and Thursday so, the trail was all muddy. I had to scrub hard to wash all the dirt off. There still is some dirt on the pedals and tires but, other than that it's pretty clean. I think I should have waited until the dirt dried up.
