More Record High Temperatures!

Since May 25 Houston has had it's daily record high broken. Yesterday and today the high got to 97 degrees. Although that is hot for May the humidity levels have been low and it's been windy pretty much every single day this month. So that has helped to keep us from feeling too hot. I actually enjoyed the warmth today when I was opening the door to go and feed the cat. We always have our air conditioning on and it sometimes gets to cold in our house. So I like to step outside and feel the warm temperatures as I look up at the clear blue sky. I wish I could see some rain though. We had a isolated thunderstorm go through Houston on Thursday but, it missed our house. Atleast we got some rain in Houston though. I know alot of other parts of Houston need some rain also. I wish I could've seen that storm though.

    I know what you mean about the house being cold with air conditioning. You need it to be comfortable, but sometimes it does feel cold! good you go outside to enjoy the free air and warm weather!! We had some nice warm days here so they could be heading your way!

Toy Cars And a New Computer!

Look at all of my toy cars! I was just organizing them before I put them into a different box, but I had to move them a little early to make some roof for my new computer! So back into the box they went! I've always wanted to arrange my toy cars like this since I was a kid, when I would see them arranged like this in toy car collector magazines and books, I thought it looked pretty cool. Anyway I had to get a new computer because my laptop's screen finally went out and it was becoming slow. It would sometimes take couple of minutes to load a webpage, so I knew I had to get a new computer. I got a Lenovo from Microcenter. It's refurbished, but it looks and works like new. Microcenter also gives you a keyboard and mouse, but it doesn't come with a monitor unless you want one, but it will cost you  a little extra. I've Found More Trails to Explore!

Uh-oh look at my bike, it's caked in mud! This picture was taken yesterday after I had ridden in the ant hills which is a dirt trail. Unfortunately for me it had rained on Wednesday and Thursday so, the trail was all muddy. I had to scrub hard to wash all the dirt off. There still is some dirt on the pedals and tires but, other than that it's pretty clean. I think I should have waited until the dirt dried up.
