Closing The Closet

As she was going to bed, she could her voices screaming, from down the stairs. Her baby brother was having a fight with her dad again about wanting to stay up late, so that he could watch his favorite TV show. "But it's only just this once!" Screamed her baby brother.
"Ok, just this once." Said the father.

    Great story Joseph! I had to smile at this one, remembering us arguing as kids to stay up late to watch a favorite show, when the rule was "lights out at 10:00." Once in awhile Mom would give in to our pleas, as I grew older I would wait for my parents to fall asleep and sneak back downstairs to watch quietly, hoping to not get caught! It's a much different world today where many kids have TV's in their rooms. I remember having to "disconnect" my son from his Nintendo in the wee hours of the morning on more than one occasion! :-) Thank you for your story for 6SS, I appreciate you, Joseph!

Toy Cars And a New Computer!

Look at all of my toy cars! I was just organizing them before I put them into a different box, but I had to move them a little early to make some roof for my new computer! So back into the box they went! I've always wanted to arrange my toy cars like this since I was a kid, when I would see them arranged like this in toy car collector magazines and books, I thought it looked pretty cool. Anyway I had to get a new computer because my laptop's screen finally went out and it was becoming slow. It would sometimes take couple of minutes to load a webpage, so I knew I had to get a new computer. I got a Lenovo from Microcenter. It's refurbished, but it looks and works like new. Microcenter also gives you a keyboard and mouse, but it doesn't come with a monitor unless you want one, but it will cost you  a little extra. I've Found More Trails to Explore!

Uh-oh look at my bike, it's caked in mud! This picture was taken yesterday after I had ridden in the ant hills which is a dirt trail. Unfortunately for me it had rained on Wednesday and Thursday so, the trail was all muddy. I had to scrub hard to wash all the dirt off. There still is some dirt on the pedals and tires but, other than that it's pretty clean. I think I should have waited until the dirt dried up.
