This past Sunday I went on a trip to Austin, TX to see my first real, live action, car race. It was fun, the cars were loud. I should have brought some ear plugs. The cars roared passed the start, finish line at over a 100 mph, only to come to almost a complete stop at the next corner. It was really fun to watch about 10 cars trying to squeeze themselves through that first corner, on top of a hill, past the start, finish line. I'm very sorry, but I had forgotten to bring my camera with me from my car, so I wasn't able to make a video, or take any pictures for y'all! But, I did get a nice shot of downtown Austin, TX. Where I went to endlessly find a Krispy Kreme for my dad, but wasn't able to find one. Every store that my gps led me to was empty and showed no signs of a Krispy Kreme ever being there. No signs of any vacancy, or store ever being there. The first Krispy Kreme that I tried to go to, ended up being a Chase bank building. Not a place that I would expec...

I want to Write a Poem! I sit on this bed, waiting to be fed writing this poem with a pencil that contains no lead. A computer is now what I used to write, sitting by my windowsill late at night. I hear the cars rumble as my stomach roars, yearning for the great outdoors. I lay my head to rest. Knowing that tomorrow I will feel my best.  How did y'all like my poem?

Spent most of the day holding a sign for my parents jewelry store, for customers looking for something to buy their mother's for Mother's Day. On another note.... Another six word Saturday, I had hoped to do more, but had been busy with school, but now that i'm out of school for the summer, I will hopefully have time to do more. Happy 6WS! Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I know I promised to make some more posts over spring break, but I just haven't been able to, or felt much like it when I did. I guess I kind of having a blog spot block..... But today I felt like writing. I now have some extra time in the morning to write, due to my new sleeping schedule of going to sleep at 9 pm and waking up at 5 am. It gives me alot of time to sleep and alot of time to do things during the day. I rarely do anything during the night and I like to wake up early in the morning. I sometimes have to wake up early for school anyway. Things that I have been doing..... Hold on I have to take the trash out..... : / Anyway, back to what I was saying; what I have been up to. Well, nothing new really, but I have found out some new things recently. Apparently there is a cat version of the corgi! LOL! I thought I should share this with all of my corgi lovers. Happy Valentine's Day!

Hey y'all! Just wanted to let y'all know what I've been up to. As y'all know I had just recently gotten my first official car (I say official because I consider the FJ Cruiser as my un-official first car since it was supposed to be my first car, but it never turned out that way.) Anyway..... I've been taking alot of trips and joining different groups! Here are some pictures.... Took a trip to the beach. Went bird watching! Saw some wildlife. It was a cool park. I drove through the dense fog to get there. I had to turn my high beams and caution lights on, so other drivers could see me. We've been getting alot of fog lately due to this warm air. The temperature was in the 80's yesterday and probably today. It's going to get cooler after a cold front comes through on Tuesday. so hopefully there won't be anymore fog. Speaking of weather i'm going to be going to a storm spotter class on...

But, first let me show y'all some videos I took of  Meyer Park in Spring, TX.  It's just to the north of Houston, TX, where I live. I was going over there to meet some people, but they didn't show up, so I decided to roam around and take some pictures. I hope you liked them! I may, or may not be taking a break from blogging. I don't know.... It depends on my schedule and classes. I may not have the time to blog for awhile. Anyway, see ya'll later! I hope to do more posts!

Was trying to go to a new trail today..... But, unfortunately, water covered my path.... I had made it through the first flooded road, but got stopped by the second. It was just too deep and not worth the risk. I don't really know how deep it was, but there could have been alligators under the water and I didn't want to get bit. So I decided to turn around and go home. That's ok, maybe next time! I'll hopefully get to explore a new trail tomorrow and will be exploring a new trail next week and the week after that. So, that's ok that I didn't get to see this one. I'll try to go see it later. This is what I think of, when I heard the word ear worm! The word earworm actually means a piece of music that is stuck in someone's head that they hear being played even when it's not being played. That happens to me alot. I always have a song stuck in my head and will start singing. or whistling when I haven't listened to it in awhile, or haven't heard music in awhile. That's how much I love music. I'm always listening to music and can start getting alot of ear worms when I stop. Video of heavy snow near Johnson City, TX I got to see some snow yesterday. I drove from Houston to Llano, TX, where I started to see some snow. I had gotten tired once I got to Llano, TX and decided to turn around. On the way back I stopped at a gas station in, or near Johnson city, TX to rest. As I was approaching Johnson city, heavy started to fall. You can see the video I took of the snow above. It took me about 5 hours to get to Llano, TX and about 5 hours for me to drive back to Houston. I wasn't really sure how to get there, but that's ok because I had my gps! It told me where to go. exterior Cool, retro style odometer The roadrunner doesn't come with the car. It had been in my dad's store for years; no one wanted it. I thought it was cool, so I wanted to do something with it. I decided to hang it of off my cars rear view mirror. I think it looks nice. Key less entry, yay! Really glad to have this. The Camry doesn't have this and it is really frustrating trying to get the animals cages in and the doors unlocked at the same time. Nice auxiliary port for my mp3 player, so I can listen to my music. It also has five seats that all fold down, except for the drivers I think. It will be good for fitting animals cages, my bike and other things in (Christmas tree, tired of trying to fit in the trunk, or trying to tie it on to the roof). ( all of the pictures are from me, except from the last one with the seats folded down. that one came from Edmund's.)  http://www.edmunds.com/   It also gets 26 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the ...

Going to join Brenda in her Pondering With a Purpose this week. No more pictures, going to do some writing today.... It's that time of year again! Time to make a resolution for the new year, already? Yup! We'll if any of you remember my last New Year's resolution was to listen to the song Rome from the B-52's everyday until the end of the year. I got to March and forgot to listen to the song and ended up getting tired of listening to it. Now it's time for another New Year! I don't know of any New Year's resolutions to make except to manage my time and finances a little bit better, like food and gas etc; gas for my new car! I'll tell y'all later in my next post!
