The Color Green

Green, it is one of my least favorite colors, although my room is green and, so is my blog (maybe I should change that.) I've never really liked the color green, but dark green is ok though. My room is army green, which is sort of a dark green. Not until now, i've never really thought about it actually, but my life is surrounded by green. I've never really been a fan of the color green. Especially light green.
Light green has never been my favorite color. It just bothers me for some reason.
My favorite green is British racing green. My dad had a British racing green XJS like this one. I think that's when I started to like the color green.
I definitely like fields of green!

So maybe I do like the color green. Just not light green....

  1. I loved this post, Joseph! It made me start thinking about the colors we surround ourselves with. Like you, I'm not a fan of light green, it reminds me of old hospital walls and school room walls...very blah. But I do love the bright green of grass and trees, and dark Hunter green. I think I prefer the boldest form of every color, pastels are nice for Spring and Easter only. I didn't even dress my kids in pastel pink and blue when they were babies! I can see what that beautiful car up there got you started liking that shade of green, it would me too! :-) So maybe it's time to redecorate your blog with a new look, what is your most favorite color? Thanks for a great addition to Two Shoes Tuesday, it makes me happy when you join in!

  3. Hi Joseph I love green as it reminds me off the outside world which I love so much.I really enjoyed reading your views and I could see what you meant about why you did or didn't like the different shades of green

  4. Hi Joseph ~~ I too like green, green of most shades. Mrs. Jim is like you, she doesn't like a light green like they put on the old 49 and 50 Fords and then some retro colored models later.

My Ford Mustang II Ghia is a lighter green, but not the kind that Mrs. Jim doesn't like:
