Not Good Day to be Outside!

We had alot of scattered showers and thunderstorms today in Houston. I saw a lightning bolt strike the ground right in front of me when I was driving, the ground shook, it was pretty cool.

    Hi Joseph ~~ You be careful driving in the rain. Water puddles can cause a car to hydroplane and then there is no conrol of it. I forgot that we had to watch out for lightening.

    We didn't have much rain up here. There was a little bit in the Woodlands when we were there this afternoon.

      Ya I know, one of the reasons that I don't like to drive in the rain. Lol! Yes you need to watch out for lightning, it can strike you at any time.

    Wow, Joseph, that was interesting with the lightening! I do agree, it was not a good day to be outside! But good about the rain. Was this remnants from Isaac that headed your way? Glad you were safe.

      No, I don't think so. I think it was from a front or, maybe a low. I don't know. We didn't get any rain from Isaac, we just got some wind and heat. That's what the weather man said. He said that the heat was caused from being west enough from the hurricane. It got really hot here the day after Isaac made landfall. : )

This week;s Pondering With a Purpose talks about Listeners and Talkers. Me i'm more of a listener, It's not that I chose to it's just that I've never had much to say. Also I like to listen. I think you learn more that way. Even though you do learn I still wish I could have had something to say that way I would be able to have more conversations with people.I get irritated when I can't think of anything to say and we both just end of sitting quietly.
