San Marcos River!

Image
On Sunday my dad and I went to the San Marcos river to swim. I was really surprised when I jumped into the river. It was over 100 degrees outside and the river was still cold. That's because the water comes from springs which get their water from underground. Also since the water comes from underground their was plenty of it. The river didn't seem to be affected by the drought and the water was flowing rapidly. A little too rapidly me and my dad got caught in the current. Are bodies were flown down the current making it hard to swim. We got out ok but, are arms and legs got scratched up by the rivers rock slides. We probably should have rented one of those tubes. Either way I think San Marcos is a fun place to swim and cool off. Just make sure you stay away from those rock slides. That's what pulled us into the current.            http://southwestpaddler.com/docs/guad7.html                       ...

I Saw The Peacocks!

I saw the peacocks yesterday. I was wondering where they were because I haven't seen them in awhile. I don't think they are sleeping in our trees anymore because I don't hear them in the morning like I usually do. Maybe are trees are too weak for them to sleep on. I saw some fallen tree branches after we had those showers on Wednesday. I miss hearing the peacocks in the morning but, I don't think they should sleep in our trees. I hope they found a safe place to sleep.  I just wanted to show you another video of the peacocks. If you want to see more videos of the peacocks and other animals come visit my youtube channel.  http://www.youtube.com/user/jojojob75?feature=mhsn

Animal News 2!

Where are the peacocks? I haven't seen them in a while. I think they may have moved to a different part of the neighborhood. I hope they're ok. White kitty scares off a raccoon that was trying to get some of her food. I definitely think Patches is gone. Maybe he found a different home. I miss Patches! My mom has been seeing snakes in our front yard. My dad says it's because of the heat wave but, I would think there would be less snakes during a heat wave. That's all I can think of. I'll let y'all know if I find out anything new about Patches or the Peacocks.

I Made Another Blog!

Hey, I just made a another blog that's just going to talk about the weather. I made the weather blog because I had filled up all of the pages on this blog and I wanted to use those pages for other things so, i'm going to have two separate blogs now. This blog is mostly going to be about animals and the other blog is only going to be about the weather. Don't worry i'm still going to make posts about random stuff like I always do but, i'm mostly going to make posts about animals. So, come check out my new weather blog. It's mostly going to be about Houston's weather but, I might make some posts about other people's weather too so, come check it out. http://www.josephsdailyweatherdairy.blogspot.com/

Baby Possum!

Image
So, maybe Patches did have some babies. I just saw a baby possum outside my front door eating the white kitty's food. I know it was a baby possum because it was the size of a rat. I'm surprised the white kitty didn't attack it. I enjoyed watching it lift it's paws to take a drink from the white kitty's bowl. I wonder why it's mother wasn't close by to protect it. Maybe she was hiding in the bushes or something. I tried to get a video of it but, my camera doesn't work that well at night. I hope I see it again. http://razzberrycorner.blogspot.com/2010/07/baby-opossum.html

Animal News!

I saw the impostor kitty a couple of days ago. Oliver went back to Dallas on Sunday after spending a couple of weeks in my sister Tamara's old room. The white kitty has decided that she likes to sleep in boxes.    I saw a possum that was not patches near my front door. I knew it wasn't patches because it was smaller. I think it might have been a baby possum. Maybe Patches had babies. That could have been why it's stomach looked so weird. I still haven't seen Patches. I wonder where he/she is. I hope Patches is ok. Is the heat wave hurting the peacocks? I feel bad for them they have to look for food during the day in the middle of this heat wave. I hope their getting enough water. I left a bowl of water for them just in case. Speaking of water bowls I decided it was time to throw out Simon's old water bowl. It had electrical tape hanging on the side of it to hold it together and it was dirty. I was afraid to give Simon a different bowl because I tho...

Sat In A Prius!

Image
When my dad and I saw that one of the Prius's at the Toyota dealership was unlocked we had to go inside. The first thing I noticed was that the buttons on the steering wheel where easy to get to with your thumbs. You don't have to look at them while your driving. Also the gear shifter felt like a computer mouse. Which I thought was kind of cool since it was a hybrid car. Despite these things there were some things that I didn't like about the Prius. The chairs weren't that comfortable and the visibility was bad in the back. I don't think that matters though because they probably have sensors that beep when you are about to back in to something. Overall I think the Prius is a good car for someone that wants to save money on gas.                                             http://technotomotive.com                   ...

Patches!

This is a video of a possum that I named Patches. He usually sleeps in our trash can but, I haven't seen him lately. Is his stomach supposed to look like that? I hope is ok.

SRS: Street Racing Syndicate!

Image
While I've been looking for a job and getting scammed I've also been playing a old street racing game on the ps2. This game came out on August 31, 2004. Around the same time that Need For Speed Under ground 2 came out. On the top at the bottom is a picture of Need For Speed Underground 2 below it is a picture of SRS: Street Racing Syndicate. Both of the games look the same but, are a little different. In SRS the cars get damaged and they need to be repaired but, in NFSU 2 the cars don't get damaged or need to be repaired. They might get scratched in a race but, they won't get damaged. Also the cars in SRS drive a little differently than in NFSU 2. The cars don't brake as good in SRS and you have to drift in to the turns which makes it kind of fun but, also kind of annoying when you miss the braking point and hit a wall or something. Then your car gets damaged and we'll need to be repaired later on. Another difference about the cars that I like in SRS is that...
