Friday Fill in 3
1. Whatever happened to freedom.
2. I always try to remember those that have fought for our freedom on Memorial Day.
3. I used to wish to have a million cats and dogs, but now I only want to have one cat and one dog. Right now I only have one cat, but no dog. I hope to get a dog one day!
4. I just cannot hate the rain, no matter how much of it falls.

Your cat is a real cutie, Joseph. I love the rain, but I worry when it floods.
ReplyDeleteA sidenote: there is no R in McGuffy's. It should be G.
Thanks for joining us!
Oh, oops! Sorry about that!
DeleteYeah me too, but it never floods at my house.
: )
Thanks for participating in the friendly fill-ins. Your kitty is adorable, I would love to get a siamese someday. And I agree, we should think of those that fought for our freedom. It amazes me that people give their lives to protect strangers.Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I have always loved the Siamese breed.

What is your cat's name? Hope you have a wonderful (not soggy) weekend.
ReplyDeleteLol, the rain is gone. My cat's name is Simon.

I am certain you will get a dog who needs to be rescued. I don't mind the rain...makes the plants grow...unless you are in a flood zone then it's not the best. On Remembrance Day and your Memorial Day I think of my dad who fought in WW2 and my mom who lived through it along with my 2 Uncles. Even though my uncles were German, one was only 14 months old when he dies and my other Uncle died of his wounds, along with 178 others all. On the same day and all of their wounds...by the Russians...war is evil
ReplyDeleteRain in a flood zone is not so good. But it rarely floods where I live.
DeleteSorry to hear about your uncles. I don't like war either.

Great thoughts here, Joseph! I think sometimes people have forgotten that freedom comes at a price and with responsibility. In order to be free we must make sure those rights extend to others. I love your cat, it is beautiful! Is it a girl or boy? I would like a dog someday too, but right now we are not home enough to keep it company. Dogs require more care. What kind would you like to have? I am like you with the water, I do not like the damage caused by flooding, but I sure do love the rain... and the thunderstorms that go with it!
ReplyDeleteYeah sorry, I just love the weather. My cat is a boy.
DeleteMy home unfortunately is not homely enough for a dog either. I'm not sure which breed I would like to have. I have many breeds that I like. I'll see when I get there.
