My Secret Cat

We've had a nice break with the temperatures in the 70's and thunderstorms, but it looks like winter is back! We are going to have a strong cold front come by tuesday that's going to bring the low temperatures into the 20's and 30's. We are going to have a harsh freeze warning on Wednesday. Then we might evven get some snow! On Thursday and Friday! Yup! It might snow in Houston! Yay I hope it does because I like snow alot and I like Houston alot but, I get sad every winter because it never snows here and the temperatures are too cold for any exciting thunderstorms so, I have to wait a whole three months beefore we can get any excitng weather in Houston. I can't wait to see what happens! The only down side is that it is going to be really cold so I won't be able to be outside and enjoy the snow. That's ok though I can just stare at it through my bedroom window. I'm not sure if it's going to snow but, that's ok if it doesn't. It's going...

I just waatched the movie Cop Out with Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis. I thought it was hilarious! I've been wanting to watch Cop Out ever sense it came out and since we get Cinemax for free for a month. I finally got to watch it. I had seen that it was playing when my dad was trying to find a movie to watch. I asked him if I could watch it and he said yes. I was really happy that he let me watch it since i've been wanting to watch it. I liked the begining of the movie when Tracy Morgan was saying all those lines from different movies and he said a line from Die Hard. Which is a movie Bruce Willis is in and Bruce Willis said nope I don't know that one and I thought that was hilarious. It kind of reminded of Beverly Hills Cops. Which is a comedy movie witth Eddie Murphy and Judge Reynolds. I enjoyed watching Cop Out and I think that you should watch it if you like cop and comedy movies.             ...

They finally let me out of the hospital today! I'm really happy to finally be out of the hospital but, I still have to rest though. So I won't be able to go up and down the stairs ten thousand times or do the dishes! Which i'm happy about but, that also means that I won't be able to change the cats litter box or feed them. I didn't think I was going to get out of the hospital today but, they said that they didn't think that there was any reason for me to stay there anymore since my blood pressure,hart rate and things were at normal levels. I didn't think I could stand another day at the hospital so I was glad when they told me this. I got all things that I needed, waited with my mom for my aunt Martha to arrive and I went home. .

I'm going to have to have heart surgery tomorrow so, I  probably won't be able to make any new posts for the next few days unless I can use the laptop while i'm in the hospital. So hopefully they will let me use my laptop while i'm there.

Since my Creative Zen v plus has not been working properly. I had to get a new mp3 player from Microcenter. I wasn't really that upset by this because I have been having problems with my mp3 player ever since the day that I got it. First it kept freezing and I had to reset it all the time which made the screens get these black lines on it. Then it just wouldn't turn on once because I had locked it somehow and I didn't know how to unlock it. Then it wouldn't turn on when I had unplugged it from the Xbox 360. Creative was very nice and they helped me by giving me steps to get my mp3 player to turn back on. Then my mp3 player finally broke. The radio kept messing up and switching stations back and forth when I was listening to the radio on it. Then the back light wouldn't turn on. I asked Creative for help but, they couldn't give me anything that could fix it. So I finally decided that I needed to get a new mp3 player. I looked online and I found this Sony walkman ...

I've just made a new cat pictures page and there is still my weather pages that I update frequently and I will be adding more pictures to my cats page and i'm going to be making more pages. So go check out my pages!

I'm trying to download Motorola phone tools so that I can add pictures from my phone onto my computer. Then I can add the pictures to my blog!

Here are some pictures that my sister Julia took of me eating jam for breakfast. They are also the most recent photos of me.

Last year it barely rained except in the summer and in December. In June we had started getting some thunderstorms. Then in July we had a storm almost everyday. Then it was pretty much sunny through the rest of the months until in December we had that huge thunderstorm on Christmas eve. Now in January we've been getting rain every week. Which I think is good since we haven't been getting that much rain lately and I don't want Houston to be in a drought. I'm glad to see that Houston's soil moisture is unusually wet for this part of the year. Which means that we are probably not going to be in a drought if we keep getting alot of the rain that we've been getting lately.

The white kitty has been hanging around the house recently and the other cats haven't been fighting with her that much. The little kitty still growls at her and Simon still chases her around the house still but, he gives up after awhile though. They still don't like her but, atleast they let her walk around the house. Which I think is better than having to have her locked up in the study.

I like that it is light weight and it is easy to carry. It also has everything built into to it so I don't have to set anything up. Like the monitor, speakers, and the keyboard are already attached to it. I like this becasue I'm tired of having to set the monitor and the speakers up like you would have to do with a desktop computer. I didn't like having to find a place to plug everything in when I was using the desktop computer in the study. That's why I like using this laptop!

Today after my dad came home from work he, my brother Faisal, and me went to Microcenter to get a new laptop. Faisal had been looking at the Microcenter's brochure and he had seen this acer laptop that was $299.99 dollars. I had thought that was a good price and I decided that I wanted to go and take a look at it. After I had taken a look at it I decided that I liked it and that I wanted to buy it. Then I got the reciept for my laptop and I then went to the cashier and gave her my reciept were she then went and got my laptop. The total came to $325.00 dollars. Which I don't think is a bad price for this laptop. I'm glad that we got this laptop i'm using it right now and i'm enjoying it!!

Since my computer is really bad i'm going to go look at laptops at Micro Center. I hope I can find a nice cheap one because all I need it for is to go on the internet with it. I decided to get a laptop because I can carry it around with me when I go places and I don't have to set up the speakers and the monitor with it. I can just turn it  on and I have the monitor and speakers already on it.

While I was getting dressed this morning I saw someone riding a unicycle on the sidewalk outside my closet window. I have never seen anybody ride a unicycle before and I was surprised to see one. I was also surprised at the balance that the unicycler had. I would have been scared to ride a unicycle so close to a street where alot of cars usually come by.

There is a harsh freeze warning tonight. The low is supposed to get into the low 20's tonight and the low is supposed to be 28 degrees on Wednesday and 36 degrees on Thursday. Those are below average temperatures for Houston. No more warm 70 degree highs for the next few days.

Yesterday my mom made chicken and dumplings which is one of my favorite foods. I liked how she put alot of biscuits in them because I think thats what makes them taste good. I thought it tasted similar to the chicken and dumplings that I ate at Cracker Barrel once. I enjoyed eating her chicken and dumplings and I hope she'll make more.

Since my sister Julia is cleaning the house she asked me to go through all my old papers and to see which ones I want to keep and which ones I want to throw away. I thought it was funny seeing all the old school journals that I made when I was in elementary school. I also liked seeing all of my earlier drawings that I did when I was a kid. My favorite drawing was the one I did with these two cats listening to music on their cd players. Since I liked seeing all of my school journals and drawings that I made when I was a kid I decided to keep them all. I only threw away the ones that I didn't like.

When I arrived from Washington D.C. on Tuesday I found out that my computer wasn't letting me get on the internet because it said that I had a virus and that it needed to be cleaned up before it was going to let me use the internet. It wouldn't let me use the internet unless I had cleaned up the virus. I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the virus so my sister Julia helped me reinstall windows xp. Then I still couldn't use the internet because she still needed to install the software that let's me use the internet. After she finally got all the software installed I finally got to use the internet and i'm now able to make more new posts. I haven't been able to make any new posts lately because my internet has been down and this is the only computer in my house that I can use. Which is ok since I haven't really been doing much anyways. I've just been watching Jackie Chan's greatest hits which is a collection of 6 movies that were made in the 70...

Yesterday I went to Mowafak's Mediterranean grill with my dad and my uncle Fawaz. We went in and my dad and I tried a sample of the basmiti rice. which is a brown colored rice with meat. We liked it alot and we decided that we wanted to order some of it. Mowfak gave us this big plate of basmiti  rice with a cup of eggplant to add some more flavor to it. I liked it alot and I thought it tasted good. Then he gave some arabic tea.Which I thought was hot and tasted a little sweet. I enjoyed seeing Mowafak's Mediterranean grill and eating the basmiti rice.

Yesterday I went with my aunt Neron and my cousin Leo to the botanical gardens in Washington D.C. They had alot of different plants from different parts of the world. I enjoyed seeing all of the different kinds of plants that are around the world. They also had these sculptures of known places around the world that were made from different parts of plants. I liked going to see the botanical gardens.

There's actually a computer here at my grandmother's house so I can still post! Happy New Years day!
