Look at all of my toy cars! I was just organizing them before I put them into a different box, but I had to move them a little early to make some roof for my new computer! So back into the box they went! I've always wanted to arrange my toy cars like this since I was a kid, when I would see them arranged like this in toy car collector magazines and books, I thought it looked pretty cool. Anyway I had to get a new computer because my laptop's screen finally went out and it was becoming slow. It would sometimes take couple of minutes to load a webpage, so I knew I had to get a new computer. I got a Lenovo from Microcenter. It's refurbished, but it looks and works like new. Microcenter also gives you a keyboard and mouse, but it doesn't come with a monitor unless you want one, but it will cost you a little extra. The whole computer with keyboard and mouse cost a hundred dollars with thirty dollar shipping, very cheap and works better than my laptop. The rea...
(Sorry there might not be sound, the video quality is not to great.) Houston and most of east Texas, got some surprising sleet and snow showers today. It wasn't that surprising since the weather forecasters have been talking about it all week, but they weren't sure if any precipitation was going to form, or not and if the precipitation did occur, if it would fall down as snow, or sleet, so it was a surprise. The sleet pellets were really big too! At around 6:20 am, when the first sleet shower started to pass through my house, I thought that the sleet might have been freezing rain, or maybe ice pellets, but when I ran outside I saw that it was sleet that was falling. The sleet was as hard as ice, but as bright as snow. The sleet drops looked bigger than I remember, back when Houston got a sleet storm back in December, 2004. Which made me wonder at first if it was sleet, or just ice pellets, but it was sleet! I'm glad that it was sleet. I've bee...
The black car slammed on it's brakes right before it hit the pit entrance. "Slow down, what are you doing?" yelled the race chief. "Sorry, I thought I had one more lap to qualify." "The time trials are over, you did good!" Said the race chief behind the chief mechanic. "And what are you worried about anyway?" "You always get 1st place, or close enough." "Close enough isn't good enough." Pouted the driver "Right, right." Just get the car into the garage and lets go get some lunch." grumbled the race chief "I'm not hungry, besides i'm supposed to go meet a friend back at the hotel." Said the driver. "Alright, suit yourself." And both the race chief and chief mechanic walked out of the pit lane, arms behind each others backs like old chums. The race driver grumbled some words to himself, then gave some shifty eyes to his race car. "If only I could make it go faste...
